1. Who this agreement is with
Strandid is a sole proprietorship operated by Marc Braun, reachable at contact@strandidhq.com and at 92 Corporate Park, Ste C #1167, Irvine, CA 92606. In these terms, "we" and "Strandid" mean that business, and "you" means the person or business buying a build.
These terms apply when you pay a deposit. If we have signed something separate with you, that document wins where the two disagree.
2. Applying, and being turned down
Submitting the application form does not create an agreement, reserve a place, or oblige either of us to anything. We review every application and reply either way.
We turn work down. Usually because the applicant is too early in their career for a build to do anything useful, or because they are a generalist rather than a specialist. That is a judgement about fit, not about the quality of anyone's work, and we will explain the reason.
3. Price and payment
Current prices are published on the packages page. Essential is offered at an introductory rate of $299 while our portfolio is being built and will rise to $599; the specification does not change when the price does. Specialist is $799 and Complete is $1,299. The care plan is $45 per month.
Payment is 50% to begin and the balance before the site is published. Payments are taken through Stripe during or after the consult. We do not store your card details; Stripe does.
Rush service is a paid add-on, priced at the consult. Prices quoted to you are held for 14 days.
4. Deposits and refunds
The deposit is refundable in full within 24 hours of payment. Ask by email within that window and it goes back, no reason needed.
After 24 hours the deposit is non-refundable, because that is the point at which the build is scheduled and work begins.
If you buy rush service, the deposit is non-refundable immediately, including inside the first 24 hours. Rush means the work starts at once and displaces other scheduled builds, so there is no window in which nothing has been given up.
The final balance is due before publication. If you decide not to proceed after the build is complete, the balance is not owed and the site is not published, but the deposit is not returned.
5. Timeline and rush service
The build clock starts when your intake form is complete, not when you pay. This protects you: the wait is on us rather than on how quickly you gather photos.
- Standard — 3 to 5 business days from completed intake.
- Rush — 1 to 2 business days from completed intake, as a paid add-on.
We often work weekends, but only business days are counted, so a weekend never works against you.
These timelines cover the build. Google Business Profile verification runs on Google's schedule and is not included in any timeline we quote, because it is outside our control.
6. Intake, and what you supply
After acceptance you fill in an intake form covering photos, services, prices, hours, your booking link and background about your work. We write all the page copy from your answers; you do not have to write anything.
You confirm that you have the right to use every photo, logo and piece of text you send us, and that the business details you give are accurate. We are not able to verify those things and we rely on you for them.
We never ask for your booking platform login and you should never give it to us. That account holds your payments and your client records. Integration uses widget code or your public profile link.
7. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included before publication. A round means one consolidated set of changes, not one change.
Beyond two rounds, further changes are at our discretion and are usually free. Where a request needs more than an hour of work, it is charged at a flat $25, agreed with you before anything is done. You will never receive a surprise invoice.
8. Ownership
- Your domain is registered in your name. The first year is included in the build fee. Renewals after year one are billed by the registrar to you, typically $15 to $20 a year.
- Your Google Business Profile is created under your account. We are added as a manager and you can remove us at any time.
- The site files and content become yours on final payment, including copy we wrote. The build is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no proprietary system, so any developer can take it over.
- Your photos and brand remain yours throughout. We claim nothing over them.
We may show finished work in our own portfolio and marketing. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.
Where a build is provided free or discounted in exchange for a testimonial, that connection is disclosed on screen wherever the testimonial is used, as the FTC requires.
9. Care plan
The care plan is $45 per month and covers hosting, SSL renewal, daily backups, software updates, monitoring, and up to two sets of content changes per month — prices, photos, hours, closures and similar.
It is optional on every package and runs month to month. Cancel with 30 days' notice by email. New pages, new specialties and redesigns are separate work, quoted before anything starts.
If the care plan ends, the site and domain remain yours. You will need to arrange your own hosting, and we will hand over the files and help point the domain.
10. Projects that go quiet
If we lose contact with you mid-build, nothing is deleted and nothing expires. Your build is stored and picked up where it stopped whenever you come back. No re-deposit and no restart fee.
11. What is never promised
We do not guarantee search rankings, placement in AI-generated answers, website traffic, enquiries or bookings, at any price. Nobody honestly can. Anyone who does is guessing with your money.
What we contract to deliver is the specification: the pages, the structured data, the integrations and the ownership terms described above. Those are checkable and we stand behind them. Outcomes depend on your reviews, your competition, your local market and decisions made by companies neither of us controls.
12. Booking platforms and Google
Strandid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Booksy, Vagaro, StyleSeat, GlossGenius, Fresha, Square, Acuity, Mindbody, Google, Meta or any AI company. Their names appear only to describe what we work with.
Those platforms change their products without notice. A booking widget can stop working because the platform altered it, most often when you change a setting. On the care plan we monitor and repair that. Without it, we will fix it as paid work at the same $25 rate.
13. Liability
We take care with the work, but the site is provided without warranties beyond what is described in these terms and what the law requires.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the previous twelve months, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings or other indirect losses.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop a project at any time by emailing us. Deposits are handled as set out in section 4, and any completed work is not published until the balance is paid.
We may end an agreement if the content supplied is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights, if payment is not made, or if communication becomes abusive. Where we end it for our own convenience, we refund what has been paid for work not yet done.
15. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, where the business operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms. Changes apply to work agreed after they are published, never retroactively to a project already underway. The date at the top shows the current version.
